Find the gaps before someone else does

VAPT

You cannot fix what you have not measured. VAPT covers vulnerability assessment and penetration testing: scoped engagements that produce prioritised findings, evidence, and retesting when fixes land.

Overview

Assessment and testing serve different purposes. Vulnerability assessment sweeps the estate for known weaknesses; penetration testing asks what a motivated attacker could actually achieve against chosen targets. Both are pointless without scoping and follow-through.

Scalenta runs the engagement end to end — scope, testing, evidence, prioritised reporting, remediation guidance — and brings in accredited testing partners where the work requires specific qualifications.

Scope

What this includes

  • Scoping workshop: assets, boundaries and rules of engagement
  • Vulnerability assessment and analysis
  • Penetration testing (network, infrastructure, web) through qualified partners
  • Prioritised findings with evidence and reproduction steps
  • Remediation guidance with your team
  • Retesting to confirm fixes

FAQ

Common questions

Do you perform the testing yourselves?
Assessment work we run directly; penetration testing is delivered with qualified partners, and the report names who tested what. Pretending a configuration review is a penetration test helps nobody.
How often should we test?
For most organisations, annually at minimum — more often after significant changes: new public services, major architecture moves or an incident. The right cadence is agreed with your risk profile, not sold as a package.
