Ongoing operations under a scope we agree in writing

Managed Infrastructure

Someone has to own the servers after the project ends. Scalenta takes on the administration, monitoring, patching and incident handling for your infrastructure — within a scope we agree in writing, so coverage is never a guess.

Overview

Most infrastructure does not fail dramatically; it drifts. Patches slip, disks fill, certificates expire, monitoring goes unread. Managed infrastructure is about putting a process around that drift before it becomes an outage and a meeting.

Scalenta runs your environment the way it should be run: monitored, patched, documented and reviewed. You keep visibility and control; we take the routine work, the alert triage and the follow-through.

Scope

What this covers

  • Server administration

Operating-system level administration, configuration and access management for the platforms in scope.

  • Monitoring & alerting

Monitoring wired to actual response procedures — alerts that get acted on, not ignored.

  • Patching & maintenance

A patch and maintenance rhythm matched to your change tolerance, with records of what changed and when.

  • Incident handling

Triage, response and escalation through a single channel, with clear severity definitions.

  • Runbooks & documentation

Environment documentation that survives staff changes — because tribal knowledge does not scale.

  • Operations reporting

Periodic reviews of incidents, changes and capacity so you can see what is actually happening.

Approach

How we work on this

  1. STEP 01

    Scope

We inventory what is covered — and what is not — agree support windows, and write the scope down.

  2. STEP 02

    Onboard

Monitoring, access and documentation are put in place before we accept operational responsibility.

  3. STEP 03

    Operate

Routine administration, patching and incident handling proceed through the agreed process; you get reports and a named contact.

What good looks like

Outcomes we aim for

  • A written scope: what is covered, what is excluded, who to call.
  • Monitoring that is actually watched, with defined response paths.
  • Patching discipline matched to your change tolerance.
  • Documentation and reporting that survive staff turnover.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you offer 24/7 support?
Support windows are agreed per engagement. We do not publish blanket 24/7 claims: if round-the-clock coverage is what you need, we will confirm whether we can staff it properly for your environment — and say so either way.
Can you take over infrastructure someone else built?
Yes, and it starts with an onboarding assessment. We review the environment, fix anything urgent, document what we find, and agree scope before accepting operational responsibility.
Is there a minimum environment size?
We scope per environment rather than publishing a minimum. What matters is whether we can run it well — that is what the assessment confirms.
